ScanDefrag 5.6

In conjunction with the ScanDefrag Team, the original ScanDefrag script is now available as a full Windows GUI version!

ScanDefrag is a small windows application that configures Microsoft's, Norton's, or JKessel's disk utilities as part of the next Windows' startup process.  This can result in less restarts and cleaner runs of these programs.  Please read the readme file for more information and features available.

After downloading ScanDefrag setup package, simply double-click on the file in Windows Explorer and follow the onscreen instructions.  Note:  If you are currently using ScanDefrag v3.0 or higher, you do not need to uninstall it first.  Just install the latest version into your current ScanDefrag folder.

What's new with v5.6:

• Fixed drive detection bug on systems with multiple drives
• Added ability to specify custom cleanup, scandisk, and defrag tools (Professional Edition only)
• Added ability to specify custom tools to launch before restarting computer, or before/after running maintenance programs (Professional Edition only)
• Now reads CHKDSK logs from EventViewer and saves them to ChkDsk.txt in the logs folder
• Added ability to view JkDefragCmd.log and ChkDsk log via Notepad.exe
• Added support for silently installing ScanDefrag: "/S /NOSTARTMENUICONS /NODESKTOPICON /NORUN /NOREADME" or "/S /NOTOALL"
• Added support for Windows 2008 Server
• Added "Validate Credentials" button in Automatic Logon Options
• Updated JKDefrag to v3.36
• Respect User Access Control on Windows Vista/2008
• Fixed detection of MSConfig.exe utility on Vista/2008
